Interview by "I Could Sew Do That"

If you could only see me doing my silly little "I'm so excited" dance with ribbon and pins scattering in my wake!  Why am I so excited?  Well, today, I had my very first shop interview by the amazing "I Could Sew Do That", a great blog embracing the "living less is more" motto!

I talk about how I started sewing, some of my more embarrassing roots (oh cosplay!), and what inspires me!

If you have a minute, visit her Etsy shop, it's filled with some amazing upcycled fashions!

Busy busy busy

Where did the week go? I can't believe it's over a week since my last update, it seems more only a day...or a month! The Sweatshop has been in full production - making tons of exciting new products and gearing up for spring and summer!

I don't want to reveal too much, but here is a sneak peak at one of the new awesome (if I do say so myself) designs - flowers upcyled from vintage casino poker cards!  Perfect for Vegas, a night on the town, or even just a poker night with friends!

Luck be a lady tonight!

In addition, the Sweatshop is supporting breast cancer awareness by donating $20 for every hat sold in the "Susan G. Komen" section of the Etsy shop to the "Yayas for Tatas" DC 3-Day walk team. You can also show your support for breast cancer research and awareness by purchasing a hat from the Susan G. Komen section, or donating directly to the Yayas for Tatas walk team!
yes, that is a big boob head hat

Lots more updates coming - check out the shop to see all the new products!
